The Valiant is the first of an entirely new generation of reels designed with CVX® technology. Created with a precise, powerful performance in mind, it has proven itself globally in a short period of time. The curved design of the frame and sideplate allowed us to design a reel that is incredibly light, but extremely strong. In addition to being the lightest series of reels on the market, the Valiant has incredible free spool, allowing for you to fish the reel all day and focus on fighting the fish, not your tackle.

I absolutely love my new BV2-600N, after having used and compared many similar reels over the years. I've recently matched it with a custom wrapped Calstar GF875H rod, both make a handsome and great addition to my quiver!
Wow your setup looks great! Thanks for sharing!
I am currently using this reel for LBSF and HST for wahoo. It is crazy lite and crazy strong. I am running 100lb seagar threadlcok and 100 lb momoi topshot. I have zero issue landing bull sharks to around 400 lbs. I would like to see a wider version of this reel with a 50% line capacity increase. It would be a game changer for land based shark fishing. Give me a wider version of the 1000, and I'll sell all my Avet 50 and 80 wides to buy the accurates.
Guadalupe (8) day had this little reel as some of the veterans called it. Hook and landed huge yellowfin! From that point on I was and is a believer.FYI had a issue with the little reel just before drive from San Diego to to Corona same day they fixed the reel (no charge) as we got a tour of the facility and meet with the brothers and we got Swag T-Shirts! The best ever now we use their Terns 500! We quietly bag fish with no issues and recommend it to everyone. Love the products just purchased the knot tying apparatus.
I have a few of the older model Accurate reels and when the Valiant line came out I was reluctant.
Well I decided to use a couple of the reels in an Accurate Sponsored Trip and was “Shocked”at how light they were and how they still had the power I had come to expect. I now own a BV-300, BV-2 500N & BV-2 600N.
Pair them with the Valiant rods and fish don’t stand a chance!!
I have been fishing for a long time and am very skeptical on changing fishing tackle. I tried out the Valiant series 3 years ago and I put them through the test on multiple trips.
The results were very apparent. The reels are extremely light weight, but are very well engineered for there toughness and confidence needed to fight your fish (even above there ratings).. Below is a picture of a decent size Bluefin I caught on my BV2 - 300.
Great product and made in the USA.
